Fife is the home of golf and we can offer you two great rounds, and a relaxing overnight stay at a truly great price.
Aberdour Golf Club
Aberdour Golf Club is a wonderful golfing experience. It offers a hugely satisfying round for golfers of all abilities.
The views across the Firth of Forth are absolutely stunning. It is sometimes described as ‘parkland by the sea’ or as one reviewer described it, ‘the paradigm of holiday golf’.
It is a standard scratch 67 and only has one par 5. Hence, the key to success at Aberdour is the short game.
You most certainly drive for show and putt for dough at Aberdour.
Aberdour Golf Club is a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
Many thanks to Peter Finch for taking the time to come to Aberdour and promote our golf course with this fabulous video!
Burntisland Golf Club
Burntisland, pronounced burnt-island, is arguably the best overlooked course in Scotland.
Burntisland is the third oldest course in Fife and the 9th oldest golf club in the world. Designed by Willie Park Jnr and later revised by James Braid, the present course can claim its origins from 1897.
It is a parkland course with a strong links like quality, although not directly adjacent to the sea.
It has longer holes than Aberdour and rewards bigger hitters more than Aberdour does.
Many holes invite a smash with the driver, but those who play safe golf to a certain extent usually fare best.
The fairways are reasonably generous and you can afford to be a little wayward from the tee.
It has many unique holes and if you like your golf a little quirky, Burntisland is a treat.
You can have a game at both of these fantastic courses, an overnight stay with breakfast, and a two course meal for just £110pp.
